A note from Kate:

My drive behind founding Potion Occupational Therapy was with a creative eye; to provide an accessible service that builds a connection with service users, parents and families, collaborating to develop achievable goals and striving to get there - whether that be for a short term or longer term trajectory. Being a sole trader, I aim to remove that unrelenting stress that large companies can hold and create a calmer, more enjoyable workplace for clients and for staff.

Please take some time to explore this website and our services more as we want you to have control and confidence in your therapy journey with us.

Our Values

1

connection

We thrive off a strong therapeutic relationship and believe we are much more likely to achieve success within therapy goals if we are able to work well together as a therapy family, communicate effectively and enjoy each others presence.

2

creativity

It says it all in the name itself. We think outside the box in ways that may not be so common, while still upholding an occupational therapy philosophy and evidence based strategies.

3

Calm

Yes, we have a business to uphold, but with that the potion of stress can be there and hinder the quality of care provided. Unfortunately, this is how larger company structures tend to fall down both with clients and with staff. We aim to remove that unrelenting stress that large companies can hold and create a calmer, more enjoyable workplace.

4

strengths-based

We can assess until our hands fall off to find something that may be wrong, but that is not who we are. We value everyone's uniqueness and utilise your strengths in therapy. We are guided by your choice and control on what you'd like to improve on and support that by using your strengths.

5

supportive

Potion Therapy Support Services aims to be one supportive ingredient in the combination of ingredients that makes you, YOU! We want you to have the control and choice in the therapy process and our aim is to help mix everything together a bit more smoothly. We are there for you, and for those who mean most to you.

6

enjoyment

As much as therapy can be challenging and achieving goals can take work, we want this to be an enjoyable journey and we try our hardest to implement this each and every step of the way. We also aim to have an enjoyable workplace with career life flow.
